Our Center

The Fallbrook Child Development Center is a nonprofit corporation established in 1975 and administered by a volunteer board of directors. The center serves up to 48 children from low-income families.

We are partially funded by the State Department of Education and licensed by the Department of Social Services. A critical part of our funding is provided by donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations.

Our director supervises a staff of certified preschool teachers, qualified teacher assistants, an administrative assistant, clerical assistant and cook. Most of our staff has been involved in continuing their education part-time at local colleges in the field of early childhood development. This keeps our staff current with the best teaching methods and materials.  Bilingual staff members work closely with our Spanish speaking children and parents. The ratio of teachers and aides to children is in compliance with State of California regulations.
