Donna Reisbeck-Stoewer


Donna Reisbeck-Stoewer moved to Fallbrook in 1990 and was principal of La Paloma School during the 90's. She spent 6 years as an Assistant Superintendent in other districts in Human Resources and Curriculum/Instruction before retiring from her rewarding career in Education in 2004. Donna then owned Donna's Unique Boutique for 5 years. She is involved as a Board member for FCDC, the Boys and Girls Clubs of North County and Rally for Children because she knows "Children are Our Future" and we must do everything we can to help as many children as possible grow to be responsible, productive, balanced, loving adults.

Vice President

Susan Lucy


Susan Lucy is a longtime Fallbrook resident, and a retired critical care nurse who loves the community of Fallbrook. She and her husband Bob raised their three children in Fallbrook. Serving on the Board of the FCDC is her way of giving back to the community she cherishes.

Secretary

Megan Gamble, Ph.D.


Megan Gamble, Ph.D. has spent over 25 years as an adolescent counselor in North County.  Her professional experience reinforces her belief in the importance of quality early childhood education along with early pro-social skills development (getting along with others.) "Competence breeds confidence and resiliency. I believe that this is what FCDC does for children."

Jeanette Short


Jeanette Shortand her husband Jim moved to Fallbrook in 2004 after the sale of their Seattle-based banking software company and became involved with the Child Development Center the following year. They say they have become huge Fallbrook fans and spend too much of their time playing golf badly.

Renee Ingold


Renee Ingold supports the mission of the center and continues the legacy of her parents, Bob and Arlyne Ingold, as a founding family of the center. Renee promotes Fallbrook's multi-cultural diversity, family farming, culture and the arts.

Megan Shinner


Megan Shinner was born and raised in the Fallbrook/Bonsall community and continues to reside in Fallbrook with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of Fallbrook High school, and went on to earn her Masters degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University. Megan has been a teacher with the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District for 8 years, teaching at both the elementary and middle school levels. She is currently the Assistant Principal at Mary Fay Pendleton, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. She is proud to serve the community of Fallbrook and is dedicated to ensuring the success of all children.

Amanda Lucy


Amanda Lucy has lived in Fallbrook for over 13 years and works as a Physical Therapist here in Fallbrook. She believes in the importance of early education and building a love for learning and the confidence it allows children as they grow and continue in their educational journey. She herself loves learning and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University in Kinesiology and sports medicine and continued her passion for learning earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University. She shared that she visited the Child Development Center with her mother in law when considering being on the board and felt an immediate connection with the staff and saw the joy each of the children had while learning and developing lifelong skills. She was impressed and wanted to be a part of a program that not only is serving her community, but doing it with passion and precision.  

Maggie Taylor


Maggie Taylor is an elementary Assistant Principal at Maie Ellis Elementary School in Fallbrook. She has been in education for the last decade, and has served roles from teacher to instructional coach to administrator. She has her Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from George Washington University and her Bachelor of Science from Baker University. The Fallbrook native has a passion for comparative education research and has published work from educational experiences in Germany and Cuba.

Jim Short


Jim Short and his wife Jeanette moved to Fallbrook in 2004 after the sale of their Seattle-based banking software company and became involved with the Child Development Center the following year. They say they have become huge Fallbrook fans and spend too much of their time playing golf badly. Jim is also the past president of the Boys and Girls Club of North County.

Kourtney Lucy


Kourtney Lucy was born and raised in Fallbrook, California.  She started her early education in the Fallbrook Elementary School system, graduated from Fallbrook High School, and went on to earn her Masters in Education from the University of La Verne.  Shortly after completing her degrees Kourtney was hired to teach 4th grade in the Menifee school district. Over the next 10 years she spent her time in the classroom teaching primarily 4th grade in both the Menifee and Fallbrook school districts.  Although, no longer in the classroom Kourtney still has a passion for teaching.  Being on the board of the Child Development Center has been a great balance allowing Kourtney to stay active in the community she loves.  She looks forward to raising her 4 children alongside many of the children the center is educating.

Nicole Becker


Nicole Becker and her husband Frank moved to Fallbrook in 1995 because of the agricultural environment and small-town sense of community.  After completing her education degrees, she opened a Montessori school in Seattle for children ages 2 1/2 - 9.  She later became a Life Coach and facilitator for women in business in Los Angeles.  As a board member for FCDC she supports Fallbrook's youngest children to learn and grow during their most formative years.

Ann Logan

Ann Logan is now retired and living in Pauma Valley with her husband Sam.  They are former owners of Major Market and enjoyed the time they spent in Fallbrook and their business. For over 25 years she has been involved in support of her local community and especially those that provide for children.

Tracey Moe, MBA

Tracey Moe, MBA has spent 40 years in Operations Finance and Accounting for large multi-national companies.  She has lived in Fallbrook for 20 years and with her husband, a Fallbrook business owner, has become active in the Fallbrook community with a special interest in underprivileged children and education.  The future is in the hands of our children, and we are responsible for ensuring that each one of them has an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to actively contribute to society.
