The
Fallbrook Child Development Center is a nonprofit corporation established
in 1975, and administered by a volunteer board of directors. The center serves
up to 48 children from low income families whose parents are either working
or in school. Since its founding, the center has graduated more than
500 children, making a difference in many children's lives. One of
our graduates recently wrote: "Nineteen years ago I was a student
here. The Child Development Center changed my life, I'm sure for the
better. I am sure I wouldn't be the person I am if this place and
these people that care did not exist."
Our
Mission is to provide quality early childhood education and day care for
children ages one to five years. We strive to promote each child's
intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development in preparation
for kindergarten.
We are partially funded by the State Department of Education and licensed by the Department of Social Services. A critical part of our funding is provided by donations from individuals, organizations and corporations. With this in mind the Los Padrinos service group was formed in 2005.
